Colorado College studio art instructors teach and guide students in the practice of creating art, making sure they are capable of thoughtful analysis of the visual language of works of art.
Studio Art instructors at Colorado College are skilled artists and educators who are privileged to introduce students to a wide range of traditional techniques, new technologies, experimental practices and visual theory.
Through direct experience, students build a technical skill set and a general knowledge of the visual arts that provide the foundation for undertaking a deeper creative investigation.

WHAT ABOUT ABSTRACT ART?
Medora invites you to experience the abstract art of Julia Evans and George Sanchez. Abstract works of art present one with a challenge: to stand before them longer than a passing moment, taking enough time to absorb and discover their meaning. The greatest reward for the viewer comes through hard examination; to do that, one must experience abstract works in an attitude of meditation.
